What parents and teachers have to say about Miss Tammy and Children's Music Express!
“Children’s Music Express is intimate, real, original, enriching; a true immersion into the arts and music appreciation - a unique, personal experience. It is organic and genuine. It’s not cookie cutter. It’s unlike anything else. It’s pure magic, and the smiles on my children’s faces say it all.”
~ Amy Blum, Elkins Park, Pa
“Tammy came to our facility to train six of our therapists in music and yoga in order to implement these methods into our daily therapy sessions. She has a very calming presence overall and made us feel at ease with the yoga poses (especially those who are not familiar with them!) She gave us wonderful strategies to work with our patients and adapted the class to fit the needs of our department. We were able to see her “in action” when we brought some of the children in for our training and implementation class. We know that through this training, we will have many tools and strategies to use for both our groups and individual sessions.”
~ Holy Redeemer Hospital, Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, Huntingdon Valley, PA
"This is a fantastic class! I take my son to this class, and we both love it. I'm an elementary music teacher, and trust me, this is the music class you want for your little ones."
~ Lori Marateck Wolf
I met Tammy Keorkunian through my girl friend (Miss Christina), almost two years ago. I met her and instantly felt a connection. She was so down to earth, super spunky, and simply put, REAL. There was no question in her pure intention to make a true impact through guiding life’s newest generation into the world of mindfulness, using music as the primary outlet.
I feel so blessed to have received my training through Tammy’s program. It was so much more than a simple ‘1,2,3, this is how it’s done’. She welcomed me alongside her, during her classes for a full 10 week session so that I was able to experience what it would be like to teach FIRST HAND. I felt supported throughout the entire journey. We would meet beforehand and chat about how each class would go, and have a debriefing afterwards in order to truly lock in the experience, and offer space for questions and for building my personal teaching skills.
After I completed my training, I felt more than ready to step into the role of solo teaching. I felt supported to explore my own creativity during the weeks in training, which provided me with the confidence to implement that creativity into my own classes. If I ever have a question about how to best handle a situation that arises in class, Tammy is still there, with her wealth of knowledge in childhood development, to offer a sound solution. I couldn’t imagine a better introduction into the world of children’s music, movement, and mindfulness, and I know I will take the skills I’ve acquired through this experience with me into all that I do in the years to come.
~ LaVina D’Anjolell, Early Childhood Music, Movement & Mindfulness Educator and Yoga Instructor
