Childhood Allergies, Your Part/Options & My Pledge

Beauty Girl Outdoors enjoying nature. Beautiful Teenage Model girl in white dres

Does your child have allergies? It would not surprise me if your answer were yes. While I am an early childhood music and movement teacher and yoga and meditation instructor, I am also an advocate for excellent nutrition in the lives of children, and their families. Almost every child I come across has some sort of allergy or allergies related to food. Why? Do you know?

I wouldn’t be doing my part if I wasn’t writing on this topic right now, and I wouldn’t be doing my part if I wasn’t sharing information that is vital to your knowledge, your child’s future, your grandchildren’s future, and so on. You may have already come across this information. I hope you have, but if you haven’t, it is my duty to bring this information to you.

First thing, when you are not distracted, make time to watch this 30-minute video, Seeds of Doubt. I know the downtime you have is filled with a laundry list of things to do, but somehow we all get our television shows in, online shopping, Facebook, etc. You have time and can’t afford to wait.

This topic is something that I’ve been tuning into for a while now, but I really didn’t know how to talk about and share it? I am certainly not an authority to speak on it like formal financial and food allergist, Robyn O’Brien is in this video that you just watched. She speaks for all of us.

“In the absence of the truth, all of us stand helpless to defend ourselves, our families and our health, which is the greatest gift we have.

Robyn O’Brien’s courageous pursuit is an example of how we can all do our parts to protect the health of our families." —Erin Brockovich

Recently, I joined the Million Mom Movement with Mom, Owner and Co-Founder of Purium, Amy Venner. Purium is a company that has been around for 20 years, formally known as, Organic By Nature, offering the purist of whole foods in the form of super foods, super greens and herbs. They have a farm to table approach, which eliminates any middlemen, keeping costs down, quality high and leaving an eco-friendly footprint on our precious planet. Now this is something I knew I could get on board with and have now since April 2014.
